1. Application for Returns/Refunds

Subject to the terms and conditions in this Refund and Return Policy and the Terms of Service, Buyer may apply for the return of the purchased items (“Item”) and/or refund no later than 7 days after the ELM Guarantee has expired.

ELM Guarantee is a service provided to assist Buyers in dealing with certain issues which may arise during the course of a transaction. Buyers may communicate directly with ELM to resolve their issues prior, during or after using ELM Guarantee.

2. Application for the Return of an Item

Buyer may only apply for the refund and/or return of the Item in the following circumstances:

  • The Item has not been received by Buyer;
  • The Item was defective and/or damaged on delivery;
  • The Item delivered does not match the agreed specification (e.g. wrong size, colour, etc.) to Buyer;
  • The Item delivered is materially different from the description provided by ELM in the listing of the Item.

3. No Change of Mind

Unless stated in this Refund and Return Policy, Buyer may not apply for the return of the Item and/or refund due to a change of mind.

4. Condition of Returning Item

To enjoy a hassle-free experience when returning the Item, Buyer should ensure the following:

a. The Item, including any complimentary items such as accessories that come with the Item, must be returned to ELM in the condition received by Buyer on delivery.

b. The Buyer should take a photo of the Item upon receipt.

5. Liability of Product Return Shipping Fee.

The liability as to who shall bear the cost of the shipping fee will be based on the two (2) scenarios:

a. In the scenario of an unforeseen error from ELM's end (i.e. - damaged, faulty, or wrong product delivered to the buyer), ELM will bear buyer's return shipping fee.

b. In the scenario of the Buyer's change of mind, Buyer shall bear the return shipping fee.

6. Refunds

Buyer will only be refunded after ELM has received the returned Item. ELM will be at liberty to refund the applicable sum to Buyer. The refund will be made through a payout to the Buyer's ELM Pay Account.

7. Communication Between Buyer and ELM

ELM encourages Buyer to communicate with each other in the event where problem arises in a transaction. Buyer should contact Seller directly for any issue relating to the Item purchased.

*Note: ELM Guarantee is the 7 days Guarantee period ( meaning we count 7 days from the receipt of the the item wherein the buyer has the option to return or refund the item within that period) is only a suggestion. It could me 2 weeks. This is to be subjected for further discussion.
